Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

YouTube provides an ability to upload a video to an account via an email address. The process is outlined on this help doc: http://support.google.com/youtube/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=57407

Videos uploaded via email are set to public by default. How can this be changed to private by default instead? The email upload exposes no way to configure the privacy settings of a video. How do I set all videos uploaded this way to private; or on a per-video basis? (When uploaded via email).

I went through all of the settings and I don't see a way to do this. It's likely not possible. –  Al E. Mar 26 '13 at 12:47
