I am looking to create a web application that will allow visitors to create images and then have those images uploaded programatically to a T-Shirt creation store (like CafePress). I have browsed around CafePress, but I can't figure out if this can be done. Is this possible? Are there other t-shirt ordering stores that will allow me to build a custom store?

You may want to change the title of your question as it seems misleading. Originally I thought you wanted to upload images to CafePress programmatically, not create a similar website. – Metalshark Jul 20 '10 at 5:34
@Metalshark, thanks for the response. I am looking to be able to upload images to t-shirt stores programatically. The choice of the term "custom store" may be misleading. I am looking to leverage the t-shirt ordering process from 3rd party and have the image gen capabilities in my app. My intention is not to create another CafePress. – rams Jul 20 '10 at 11:49
So you are looking for promotional printing companies with an API like Google Cloud print or ViaPost then? It normally works out that you speak to a Promotional Printing company such as Printing.com or Aspects.biz then set-up an electronic ordering process (e-payments/e-ordering). I do not know of any open APIs for this. – Metalshark Jul 20 '10 at 12:11
@MetalShark, Thanks for the leads. I'll check them out. – rams Jul 20 '10 at 12:33

You might want to check out T-Shirt Forums one of the examples on there called No-Refresh has T-Shirt designer that allows for user uploaded images.
