Pasting text containing email formatted <http://foo> URLs turned out to be quite a challenge. &lt;http://foo/bar&gt; and similar resulted in borked links like "<http://foo/bar&gt;", while <nowiki> elements were simply removed from the post. One workaround was &lt;http://foo/bar<!-- -->&gt;, which resulted in "<http://foo/bar>". Now, how would I completely disable URL generation within the blockquote?
