Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

Pasting text containing email formatted <http://foo> URLs turned out to be quite a challenge. <http://foo/bar> and similar resulted in borked links like "<http://foo/bar>", while <nowiki> elements were simply removed from the post. One workaround was <http://foo/bar<!-- -->>, which resulted in "<http://foo/bar>". Now, how would I completely disable URL generation within the blockquote?
