Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I want to receive an iOS push notification when a certain person (or a one of a group) mentions that tickets are on sale.

So basically I would like to be alerted whenever: (@personA or @personB) tweets about ("tickets" OR "badges")

IFTTT doesn't seem to support this anymore, if it ever did. I am not sure if the current Twitter API makes this kind of workflow possible.

Receiving an email would also be acceptable, but the push notification is preferable.

Twitter has cut back quite a bit on what is possible through their API. What you're looking for may not be possible. –  Al E. Jun 27 '13 at 20:30
