I am collecting the results of a survey through a Google Form. I'd like to create a new sheet with all of the rows but a subset of the columns. In the new sheet I'll make some calculations based upon the submitted values.

What is the easiest way to go about this?

Can you clarify? You say "rows" in the title, but then "columns" in the body of your question. –  Al E. Aug 6 '13 at 15:49

I managed to resolve this by writing a simple script that looks at one sheet and updates another after the user selects a command from the menu.

Ok, where's the script? –  Jacob Jan Tuinstra Apr 15 at 6:44
