When I go into contacts, I only see a small percentage of the people I regularly communicate with on Gmail.

How can I see all the contacts that I have in Gmail?

(I am attempting to create a group and I cannot find some of the people.)

Does exporting your contacts work? This should let you view all of them and download (as .csv, etc) -- click "More" > "Export" –  OnenOnlyWalter Sep 10 '13 at 16:22
Look under "My Contacts" and "Other Contacts". If they're not in either place, then they're not in your contacts. (Though they should be coming up in a search.) –  Al E. Sep 10 '13 at 17:46
Exactly what @AlEverett said. To shed a little more light, 'My Contacts' are those contact who you've told Gmail to add to your address book, whereas 'Other Contacts' includes anyone you've corresponded with in Gmail. –  LloydDobbler Sep 11 '13 at 19:42
