Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

Lately, Gmail is "archiving" everything I send. As far as I can see, I'm just hitting the blue "send" button in their compose window. When I hover the arrow over it, it says; "Send (Ctrl+Enter)", with no mention of archive. Is this something else Google has screwed up? Has some setting somehow been made to automatically archive all sent mail?

Are you sure you don’t have some filter in place for archiving all sent mail? –  Alex Oct 20 '13 at 6:54

Filters don't apply to sent mails. –  Franck Dernoncourt Oct 20 '13 at 17:17

Why do you mean by “archiving” everything you send? Archiving usually means remove Inbox label. –  Franck Dernoncourt Jan 18 at 13:52
