I have setup my GAE app with my registered domain. And from the Admin page:

Your users can access myapp at:

*Note: app name is not actual

However, the problem is that when www.myapp.com is accessed, the URL changes to myapp.appspot.com

What could be missing?

Need more info to give an answer, but you haven't mentioned the required google apps account.. – Gianni Di Noia Nov 7 '13 at 20:03
I'm voting to close this question as off-topic because Google App Engine is a platform to build and run applications and that is out of the scope of this site. – Rubén Jul 24 '15 at 14:30
