I exported an Excel spreadsheet into a Google Spreadsheet. The cells aren't showing.

How can I get them to show, and how can I create new cells, columns, and rows?

Since it seem very unlikely the Q will ever be clarified I am assuming The cells aren't showing. is a reference to gridlines - that can be displayed with View and Gridlines.

To create new cells, columns, and rows right-click a column or a row and choose Insert (column/s or row/s respectively).

A single cell cannot be created in isolation - has to be an entire row and/or column.
