I can't get a Usenet account with my current Internet service provider. What good online NNTP-readers or Usenet accounts are available?

This question appears to be off-topic. The users who voted to close gave this specific reason:

  • "Questions asking for us to recommend or find a Web Application are off-topic and out of scope, as they tend to attract opinionated answers and spam. However, your question may be on topic at Software Recommendations if you can rewrite it so that it meets their quality guidelines" – Al E., jonsca
If this question can be reworded to fit the rules in the help center, please edit the question.

"Where do I get a usenet (NNTP)?" is not even really a question. Maybe you want to say "What web apps are there to access Usenet (NNTP)?" – x3ja Jul 1 '10 at 23:41

The most widely-used is probably Google Groups, which describes itself as a "searchable archive of more than 700 million Usenet postings from a period of more than 20 years."
