I am living in the UK and need to find a good specialist doctor which turned out to be tricky. Is there a website where clients can provide ratings and feedbacks, similar to www.ratedpeople.com, tripadvisor.com or www.goodgaragescheme.co.uk but for medical service?

Dear administrator, please do not close this question despite it is about looking for not a program but a web resource. Or, please recommend more appropriate stackoverflow-based resource for this sort of questions.

If you have to ask for it not to be closed, that should probably clue you in to an issue. This site is for Web Apps. Try rephrasing your question including specifics so it isn't a yes/no question. – Rebecca Chernoff Aug 19 '10 at 12:54
The problem is you are not looking for the “best doctor” you are looking for a doctor that can help you given the health problems you have. Therefore I think you need to find other people with the same health issue and ask them to recommend a doctor. – DoNotInstall Aug 19 '10 at 13:29
If you contact your local GP they can refer you to the propper place. Good GP's are pretty hard to find, but you can get a referal to a private doctor if you are willing to pay, or to the NHS if you are willing to wait. – MrHinsh Aug 19 '10 at 13:49

I hadn't heard about it before, but a quick search on google returned http://www.ratemds.com/social/?q=node/8521 as a possibly good option.
