I have a Google Spreadsheet that contains a list of dates, and empty cells. For a variety of reasons, I'd like to be able to have people add fill out a Google Form where they select a date, and fill in a textbox, and the data is the text box is placed in the cell adjacent to the date.

Is this possible via Google Apps Scripts?

Yes it is possible with Google Apps Script, and possibly with native functions as well, like VLOOKUP. Eg would it be viable to have the text pulled from the form responses sheet to the date list sheet using spreadsheet formulae? – AdamL Aug 18 '14 at 22:41
