When I compose a letter in Gmail, and paste a link in it, when I hit return twice and enter more text, it is 'link' formatted. Blue and underlined.

Is there a way without manually changing the font to get back to my normal text?

Right now I've just been Cut and Pasting other text in the letter, then changing it to reset the format.

It's not doing that for me. What browser and operating system? Are you using plaintext or rich text format? – Al Everett Oct 13 '10 at 13:09
@AlE, IE8, I tried in Firefox, but it doesn't even make the link when you paste it in. I was just doing a little more testing in IE8 to see when it would happen, but didn't get any results, looks like this one will be hard to track down. It has definitely happened more than once. – Lance Roberts Oct 13 '10 at 15:16
