There is a service out there that hosts a bunch of VMs with different software running on them (like a game you want to play), that you can then connect to and use. But I can't recall the name of this service.

I doubt such a service exists. For business applications hosting them offsite on VMs is a cinch. There are no graphics and rarely videos. But for games, the bandwidth would be too intensive. Imagine trying to play Modern Warfare over the internet. Either you would have insane lag as your computer tries to download intensive graphics real-time or you would have to set the settings to bare minimums or not be able to play. I did notice that spoon.net (as previously stated) had several games that were less intensive. That may be your best bet at finding this service. |
