Gmail "standard view" is not working in Firefox 3.6.10, even JavaScript is on and I've cleared the cache, and restarted.

I get the following message.

JavaScript must be enabled in order for you to use Gmail in standard view. However, it seems JavaScript is either disabled or not supported by your browser. To use standard view, enable JavaScript by changing your browser options, then try again.

It was working before. How can I fix this problem?

Via @Nifle from Super User (10k+ only):

Try starting Firefox in safemode, go to Start > Run and type firefox -safe-mode and hit return. If it works then one of your extensions is probably giving you problem.

To find out which extensions is giving you trouble disable them all, then enable them one by one until Gmail breaks.

You sure you've started in safe mode ? What about other browsers? – Sathya Oct 29 '10 at 17:59
This worked for me. I had disabled Google with Noscript – Theta30 Jul 16 '13 at 21:42
