I was wondering whether you could help me with the following, I receive the same mail several times, from one particular person who is using Outlook.

The strange thing is that it only happens when this one person uses Outlook.

I am guessing this is an Outlook issue and not a Gmail problem (obviously :) )

So, I´m sorry I cant give you more information, but that is basically the problem, here are some facts, I´m not sure if they are relevant.

  • He is using Outlook 2003.
  • I´m using a Gmail account that gets the mail by a automatic forward set from cPanel.

Please tell me if you need any clarification or any more info about the situation.

Have you considered that it's an issue with your autoforward? That perhaps it's triggering it multiple times? Could there be multiple Gmail filters acting on the message? – Al Everett Oct 22 '10 at 14:20
I took a look but it doenst seem to be the problem, not the filters at least, i removed them and it is still happening, on the other hand, it could be a fwd problem but I receive EVERY mail like this and NO problem. Thank you!! – Trufa Oct 22 '10 at 14:41
Is it every message from this person? Is it the same number of duplicates each time? I wonder if they're trying to use the "recall message" feature which, since you're not an Exchange recipient, won't work. – Al Everett Oct 22 '10 at 15:02

Sorry for the delay!! It is not the same number of times, it varies from 2 to 8 and on a very rare occasion I get it only once. Thank you! – Trufa Oct 22 '10 at 15:55
