I wanted to tabulate our lunch break hearts scores on a Google form, so I sent it to the guys I play with and one of them entered his name as winning 20 times and I want to get rid of that. I removed those entries from the spreadsheet, but they still show up in the summary (even a few days later). Does anyone know where that info comes from and how to change it without destroying the whole form?

The summary is stored independent of the current data inside the spreadsheet. So right now, you can't change or update it without destroying the data and form. One suggested workaround is to create your own summary, making your own charts/graphs from the data, and send the link to that out. |

The problem has been solved - the only way to remove responses from a form (after testing it, for example) is by deleting the entire row of responses. This can be done either of two ways: Before either method, select the response rows you wish to delete.
You should see the number next to the "Forms" menu tab be reduced by however many rows you deleted. |

Reset the form by creating a backup one, exporting the original and starting it again from scratch. Hope that helps! |

This has probably been updated since '09/'10 but you can now clear the summary stats for test/old submissions by deleting the entire row (i.e. right click on row number and select 'delete row'.) |
