Web Applications Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for power users of web applications. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I have a Google Apps premier account and I'd like to migrate my archive of old Hotmail emails into this account.

I know I can use POP and Google Email Uploader on my Mac to move all of the emails from the Inbox, but as Hotmail doesn't show folders via POP how could I move emails within folders across to my Google account?

Any suggestions welcome.

Does Hotmail allow IMAP access? –  Al E. Nov 8 '10 at 16:14
Nope POP only. I have just found fluentfactory.com/mboxmail-for-mac so may look into that. –  Adam Dempsey Nov 9 '10 at 9:09
Since this is no longer an issue (Outlook.com supports IMAP as of 12/2013) and Hotmail doesn't really exist anymore, I am going to close this. If there's still an issue, please ask a new question about doing this under Outlook.com. Thanks! –  jonsca yesterday
