Every time I want to reply to an email, the main text in the body appears preloaded in the composition window.

You cannot disable this feature of replying in Yahoo! Mail.

Best you can do is highlight all of the text and delete it.

CTRL-A, Del. Two (or three, depending on how you're counting) keystrokes. –  Al E. Feb 7 '11 at 20:23

Its better to have the context when replying to emails. but never the less, you might have it in the options if the service enables it

I dont understand why I deserve the -1 . the option to let you have enable/disable UI experience is only with the service provider. In short, you cannot experience GMail features on Yahoo mail or vice versa.. –  Sairam Nov 22 '10 at 17:04
