Somebody must have created one?

What i'm looking for is:

  • A very easy-to-use musiceditor with a "soundgrid" or similar to create your sounds
  • It must be online
  • A free service
  • You should be able to record from your mic
  • You should be able to save your "sound" and share a link to it
  • You shoule be able to open up old "sounds" and edit them

Perhaps something similar to this: (this is only a sketch, it don't have to look like this, it doesn't even have to have a "soundgrid". I just thought it'd be a good idea...)

The reason i need it is beacause i've come across several times both me and other people have wanted to share a quick soundsnippet of a song, to find the songname (for example).

Yeah, me too! I'm sure there's lots of people out there that would use it. I just found soundation.com/studio, but i think it's too advanced for "normal" users to use. – Emily Nov 30 '10 at 18:31

Take a look at Myna. It should have alot of what you are looking for.

I use Indaba http://www.indabamusic.com/ though it might be a little much for what you want, it's a pretty amazing collaborative sound studio for a SAAS app.
