Not every document is compatible with Google Docs. The conversion process isn't perfect.

Time zones have gone through many changes over the years, and these changes are recorded in the IANA/Olson time zone database. Google uses this data to perform the conversions. When values are being converted from one time zone to another, it is essential to have a date as well as a time. Since the source values you provided are time-only fields, then a ...

It's a big problem with Google docs. The new version that the Google Apps team released last week is better with formatting, but for printing purposes, I usually just export to a Word doc and work from that.

I was getting the same error message too. Clear your cookies and log in again - it should work then. I have provided a screen shot just so you know I am not making it up :) EDIT After a bit more digging it appears that there is an issue with Twitter. You can switch back to the old twitter but you have to use the link that appears in the blue banner at ...

If the other person your sharing with is just printing and not working on the document, your best bet is exporting as a PDF. Your formatting will be maintained for the print.

I've had similar problems and I have one solution that may work. I would suggest making sure you have the latest version of Google Chrome. Click the wrench then click the about tab and it will tell you if your up to date

The accepted answer isn't actually a solution. I ran into this problem recently, and I made a simple Chrome Extension that fixes the problem, at least for Google Calendar. It uses the webRequest API to shorten the URL automatically after you click the link. You can download it on the Chrome Web Store.

In my recent experience contacting friends who use GMX's xmpp service works pretty unreliable. Only friends with a gmx.net|gmx.com|gmx.de|gmx.at|gmx.ch address can be reached OK. They are routed via xmpp-gmx.gmx.net[213.165.65.40]. Friends with a ...

This is one of those generic error messages that are used to cover all sorts of issues. It allows the website or web app to provide a level of abstraction so that users only need to know that something is up and to either wait a bit before they retry or follow-up with support or the developers. It's deliberately vague because the user doesn't need to know ...

The problem appears to be related to the Flexo Facebook Manager Wordpress plugin you have installed: both the og:image and og:description meta properties in the Wordpress-generated HTML on your website are blank. What happens when you disable said plugin?

I found it this way: Account settings / Apps / Apps others use / If I'm online (unchecked -> checked).

I think something is off with your university's mail system. I've tried sending mail using a custom From address and an incorrect password and it's been my experience that Google's mail system tells me that the remote server rejected my credentials via an error message delivered to my Gmail inbox. For example: Delivery to the following recipient failed ...
