You can do this by clicking "Add | Add by URL" at the bottom of the left nav on your google calendar homepage. Figure: Adding an iCal to sync is as easy as adding the URL You will be asked to choose to sync with your main calendar or a new named one, but if you stick it in the main calendar you should then get it on your other devices.

You should be able to get an iCal link for your Facebook calendar. Then you can import it into Google Calendar. That's what I've done. Add | Add by URL The URL will look something like this: http://www.facebook.com/ical/u.php?uid=666799173&key=f71bc5993a

Having every single Foursquare checkin post to twitter has become quite a faux pas, at least among my followers. Some even consider a single tweet (i.e. took over as mayor) to be an automatic-unfollow catalyst. Depends on your audience though, I guess. One option would be to use the Selective Twitter app for Facebook, which only uses tweets that include the ...

One way to do this would be to utilize the GoogleCL tool. GoogleCL is a command-line interface (utilizing Python scripts, but the Windows version includes a wrapper so you don't have to manually install and set up Python) to various Google services, including Picasa. (I'm assuming you're on the Windows platform for these commands, but equivalents exist on ...

Google Docs have been merged into Google Drive. Consider Drive as an overlay that just maps your previously existing Docs collection to your local hard drive. Since neither Word nor other applications have a way to edit Google Docs documents on the fly (plus the fact that there's no API for this), the only way to represent those documents on your local ...

If that user has set the shared file/folder to sync to their computer then yes, it will stay updated when their dropbox syncs. Keep in mind, though, that there are many ways that the file/folder could be out of sync: Other person hasn't turned on their computer Other person hasn't turned on syncing for that file/folder Other person has Dropbox setup to ...

It appears that Google Contacts is one of the services which does not have a sharing option, but does have a data transfer option. Transferring data between two Google accounts would involve exporting and importing. Update: One alternative would be to set up a Google Apps account and use one of the workarounds to share contact information.

Yes you can. Click here: http://apps.facebook.com/fotofan/ Then follow the directions to sync with your Picasa account. It will give your profile a "Picasa" tab.

For my iPhone, I use Google Sync, which works flawlessly. If you go to the Google Sync homepage, you'll see that they also have Contacts sync for Nokia S60. I would recommend trying Google Sync out. This will sync your contacts with Gmail's contacts, so you can even access them through any web browser.

The reason is because Google has not created any functionality in their Google Calendar APIs for doing anything with tasks. Without an API for this, applications would have to screen-scrape, which is a pain and is inconvenient. Many developers want such an API, so such functionality will probably be added soon. Until then, there's not much you can do. ...

It's not an easy solution, but Yahoo! Pipes lets you merge together multiple feeds and generate one feed that you can then embed on your site with a Pipe badge. I use Yahoo! Pipes to merge together feeds from related sites so I have them all in one feed. You'd have to grab the feed from each family member in order to do that. More of subscriptions and ...

If you go to the second half of this article, it outlines how to do this. In short, you find your Facebook ID, use it in the URL http://www.facebook.com/minifeed.php?status&id=[yourid], then add that as a feed in Google Buzz. Edit: I did a little investigation and found out minifeed.php no longer works. But this does: 1. Go to ...

There isn't anything built-in to either Evernote or Google Docs (now called "Google Drive") that will do a synchronization. Both services have an API so it would be possible for a third-party to build a synchronization tool. One service which seems to do what you ask is cloudHQ. As of June 2012, this is a paid service which has a free option with limited ...

You mentioned Delicious, which may have everything you are after, though I am not sure they offer is the offline archiving, but you could probably do that with another application. Otherwise, it's got the social shareablity, grouping, integration (I know of at least 2 plugins for Chrome, so I imagine they have more than that for FF. It's also backed by ...

CloudHQ is a paid service that supports one-way syncing between a variety of cloud platforms I can't comment on whether or not the output would be supported by LibreOffice or HTML, but it seems likely that it would. I would email the developers.

Have you ever used Delicious? It's a web app with bookmarklets that work in Safari, Firefox, IE, Chrome and Opera. You can make any bookmark "private" so that it is not available publicly. Additionally, your bookmarks are taggable, so you are not limited to a strictly hierarchical folder structure.

Windows Live Mesh does this, and it's free. I've used it for sync'ing large projects of source code between my office and home office, and it worked very nicely. It operates via the "cloud" (i.e. it gives you free online storage), and you can specify which devices you want to connect to that cloud repository.

There's an article on this here. I've not checked that it works, but it seems pretty straight forward. The essence is that instead of importing the calendar, you add the URL of your event feed as a public calendar - here's a summary of the steps: In Facebook click on "Events" Click on "Export Events" and copy the URL In Google Calendar go to "Add" under ...
