With the Gmail web client, you can't. You can create a signature, and you can create canned responses (if you turn on the Labs feature), but neither of those things can contain dynamic variable tags.

Trello doesn't currently have any templating features, and there isn't currently a way to copy cards. We may add that sort of feature in the future, there are currently proposals for board templates and reusable checklists)

It doesn't look like the theme has any commenting system embedded into it. There is no code for either Disqus or IntenseDebate or Facebook comments. If you wish to add Disqus comments, here're the instructions for embedding it in Tumblr. Please note that you need a Disqus account first.

It is not currently possible, but there is a (very highly voted) card for that feature. Until that is implemented, you might consider using the Trello Clone Chrome Extension (written by a third party).

I have created a template that contained just <code>{{{1}}}</code>, then I called it with {{Name of the template|foo}}. This generated the HTML <code>foo</code>, as expected.

This is because this is not possible to do with CSS, these are two different pages, you would have to dynamically place JavaScript to pull in the CSS into the iFrame html content. The most you can do is play with the iFrame itself iframe#ask_form

Trello just recently (last week) implemented the Checklist Copy feature: when you add a new checklist, you can now "Copy Items From…" an existing card's checklist.

You can create a card with the list you want, and then use this card as a template, by copying the card to the list you want. For things like this, I actually have a list with is just templates of cards I use whenever I need.

While this may not be exactly what you are after, this is what I did. I set up all the recurring tasks in google calendar, with the start date when I wanted the card to come into my inbox.
