comment Is there a web application that allows tandem drawing/painting?
FlockDraw is exactly what we were looking for, note you don't have to sign in with Facebook as it seems to indicate (just click cancel, two people can still share the drawing), thanks!

comment Server-side script at Dropbox?
thanks, it seems like dropbox could morph into an ISP with relatively little effort: add scripting and domain redirecting and they could compete directly with ISPs who charge for the same product, or they could charge for it, the ability to "upload" files without messing with FTP is a nice feature

comment Are there any web applications for local events which use the pub/sub model?
yes the idea came from your recent interview with Phil Windley, itc.conversationsnetwork.org/shows/detail4684.html, the idea makes a lot of sense of course, I didn't catch from the interview that sites were up and aggregating yet, and when I look at e.g. elmcity.cloudapp.net/services/AroundAtlanta I see a lot of technical information and a box that seems to be displaying real events, but are there actual sites that are displaying this information for the end-user and not the technical developer? And how would I start a site like this for Berlin, Germany?

comment In a Google Spreadsheet, how can I force a row to be a certain height?
The solution I need to to be able to paste "endless text/images" into the little cells so that I can zoom in and look at all that text if I want but can at any time, back up and get an overview of all my notes and code. Right now, I cannot get this overview since the long texts and code inserts expand everything so far down the page.

comment How can I create a google document in a folder?
yes, I do this 2-step process but since google docs is otherwise so user friendly (e.g. you can put commas and slashes in file names), I would just think there is a way to create a file in a folder that already exists without this extra step, like you can in Explorer or any other file management GUI e.g. on Mac or Ubuntu, it just seems standard, odd they don't enable this basic feature somehow.
