Watch for changes to a section of a Wikipedia page @AndersonGreen That's what the API is for. Though if all you want is the text, action=raw might be easier for you. |

Watch for changes to a section of a Wikipedia page @AndersonGreen Sure it would, but I don't know about any such script and I don't think it exists (but it's certainly possible I'm wrong about that). |

Watch for changes to a section of a Wikipedia page @JacobJanTuinstra Watching a page is relatively simple, since a change to a page can be easily identified in the database. If you want to watch a section, you need to parse the text of both versions of the page, find the section in both of them and diff it. And you also need some way to identify a section. It's well defined what creating, moving and deleting a page is, but it's not so clear when it comes to sections. |

Find all pages on Wikipedia that redirect to a specific page How do you want the results? Human-readable? Or machine-readable (e.g. XML)? Does it matter? |

Redirect a section of a Wikipedia article to another article @AndersonGreen Your question was “Is there any Wikipedia template that can be used to redirect a section of one article to another article?” If using a bot is okay for you, you should have said that. |

Redirect a section of a Wikipedia article to another article @Sparr I think you're just confused about what I meant by “source” and “target” (you call them “target” and “correct new page”, respectively). |

How can I put the ToC at the top of the page, parallel to the first paragraph? According to a guideline of the English Wikipedia, the lead section should not be more than four paragraphs long. You might consider adopting similar guideline on your wiki. |

How to disable “Random page” in media wiki? You could do that by using the SpecialPage_initList hook. |

Specify the starting and ending point for a Wikipedia reference A question is whether doing this would clutter up the code too much for little benefit. |

Find when a phrase was added to a Wikipedia page Using the XML dump is an overkill: you really don't need to download the complete revision history of all articles on Wikipedia just to search the history of one article. |
