I am a software developer, working primarily in C# / .NET. I have been doing this for about six years.

Prior to that I worked in various technology positions, with strong experience in system / network administration, and some experience in a variety of programming languages.

I am an avid user of technology tools, particularly fond of open source, freely available, or just anything that is high quality and a great value.

Now just trying to find whether there is a way to save the search for quick access but even if not this is a very handle tip and seems to search correctly across all folders.

Aug 7	comment	Can I resize an image (Drawing file) in Google Drive? Thank you for the suggestion. I also found that if I do a Select All on the image in Google Drive it gives me grabber arrows that I can use to resize. But it's difficult to get a precise size since there is no pixel count.

I'm also considering Freshbooks but the drawback I see right now (for our case) is that there does not seem to be a good way to download transactions from the bank. There appear to be addon applications which do this, but it seems like then you are basically using someone else for your download service (on a separate website) and just pulling over information from Freshbooks, but it doesn't seem to be an integrated service? Any tips there appreciated!
Jun 15	comment	Which versions of the PDF standard does Google Docs support? Do you have any way to produce a PDF 1.7 document using a different tool, as a test? Maybe it is possible there is something about the way that PHP TCPDF is producing the document which is causing the Docs Viewer to choke?

I might edit the question to make it more general so it applies to any theme hosted on Wordpress.com. Let me know if you know of any reason why that would not make sense.

I have used this feature many times.

One is just habit and reluctance to switch when the perceived reason for the switch is not significant. Beyond that, I'll say that I've spoke to several people who just don't like the UI of Gmail. I can't say I understand why - just personal preference.
May 8	comment	How to modify filters in gmail I agree with @Sarah. These steps work as described for me. The filter ends up in the "Has the words" box. If yours is changing for some reason in an odd way, try just typing "from:amy OR to:amy" into the "Has the words" box at that point in the Create Filter wizard. I think that may help.

We are using Yahoo Plus and don't see the functionality there (at least not anyplace obvious). I'm actually helping a user who prefers Yahoo Mail over Gmail for various other reasons, so switching to Gmail is not a desirable solution in this case. Thanks again for the feedback!
