About me, huh? Well, I don't like creating a ton of different profiles because I never remember to update them all. So I'll defer this section to http://www.timparenti.com/me/.

Convert “friends” to subscriptions Come to think of it, that may indeed be the case. If I recall correctly, both features appeared around the same time for me. |

When are reminders sent for Google Calendar all-day events? They aren't sent *AT* 5pm, they're sent *BASED ON* 5pm, e.g., a 10-min reminder is sent at 4:50pm. |

When are reminders sent for Google Calendar all-day events? This is absolutely incorrect; they are sent based on 5pm the previous day. See the accepted answer. |

Why does Google Calendar move events in a different (non-DST) timezone 1 hour backward? Yeah, if it was between mid-March and early-November, US Pacific Time would have been on UTC–7, while Hawai'i is on UTC–10 year-round. |

Why does Google Calendar move events in a different (non-DST) timezone 1 hour backward? Hmmm... Help me diagnose this: What are the specific names of your home zone and the zone to which you were travelling? And what was the actual date of the event? Except for a few Pacific Islands, most populated areas in UTC–8 do observe DST, but possibly on different dates than expected. |
