comment Changing “Willing to Move/Relocate” setting in a LinkedIn profile
It’s a pretty standard job-profile field and I’m pretty sure I had seen it on LinkedIn. I certainly get a lot of jobs for other cities which are useless right now, so I need to filter those out in some/any way.

comment Way to get back to unsaved work on Quotev.com?
As it happens, Chrome crashed while I was typing up this very answer. I restarted Chrome and click [Restore] and picked up where I left off. But then, the form I was typing the answer was a standard web form, so Chrome had saved its contents.

comment How can I prevent Gmail from formatting our order numbers as IP addresses
@Levans, but the tel: part was not in the original post; you added that. Unless she reports back with the exact link that is added, we can only conjecture. The order number doesn’t really look like either an IP address or a phone number, it only looks kind of like both, so Gmail’s heuristic is throwing false-positives. Regardless, the answer would likely apply to all text that Gmail auto-interprets and auto-formats.

Are you sure it’s thinking they phone numbers and not IP addresses? Are you sure about the content and formatting of the resulting HTML that Gmail auto-adds?

comment Disable YouTube HTML5 player in Chrome
Even worse, HTML5 elements are not affected by Chrome’s click-to-play function, so there is no way to prevent Youtube videos from automatically loading, buffering, and playing. There are some extensions that can help with this, but they don’t work with Youtube’s Feather mode. ಠ╭╮ಠ

comment Google removed the Stop Download command from the context-menu of YouTube videos
Very nice! I tried them all and they all worked. I don’t like having the bookmark bar always-on since that’s of little use, so I’ll use an extension. Fortunately the extension doesn’t run in a separate process which is good, but the button it makes flickers, so I’ll use the user-script instead (I’ve previously tried using the JavaScript) command stopVideo(), but it didn’t work ఠ_ಠ).

Actually, that is something I do with other video sites that don’t have a stop-buffering command. The problem is that not only does it still end up downloading a little, it’s not always easy to click at the end anyway. If the video is long, even clicking as close to the end as you can, you could still end up a couple of minutes from the end, which is a waste of bandwidth if you have decided not to keep watching. You can switch to full-screen and click the now-longer time bar, but even then, doing any/all of this takes an extra few seconds which YouTube spends continually downloading.
