Is there a web-based equivalent of Microsoft OneNote? Thanks for the links - that "Remember the Milk" looks interesting, might give it a go. Cheers. |

Is there a web-based equivalent of Microsoft OneNote? Thanks for the pointer to Evernote - I've registered an account and will be giving it a go for a while to see how it compares to the Google Notebook answer. |

Is there a web-based equivalent of Microsoft OneNote? Thanks neo - I totally forgot that Google Notebook existed. I clicked your link and it loaded up some notebooks that I had from three years ago. I guess I'll start using it again now. Also, I wonder why it isn't linked to from the Gmail topbar? Sounds like a potential Greasemonkey script in the making. |

Is there any way to get rid of the Google News link from an empty GMail inbox? An empty inbox is the result of weeks upon weeks of creating various filters and labels, as well as manually trawling through thousands of emails from the last 6 years. Finally achieved victory last night, only to be greeted by this garish link to Google News! Pfft, some reward :) |

Is there any way to get rid of the Google News link from an empty GMail inbox? Thanks for the tip - I'll look into GreaseMonkey and see if I can develop a script to do this myself. Cheers |

Is there a way to archive an email in Gmail once it has been read? OK, based on drye's comment, and after a lot of looking around myself, it seems that there is no way to do this. I'm accepting your answer rchem because that's a neat feature that will probably become second nature now anyway, and will have the same end result (even if there is a keypress involved!). Cheers |
