+1; You don't have to use the CONCATENATE to build the query. This works as well: =importxml("http://xml.utrace.de/?query="&"webapps.stackexchange.com","//ip")

I'm not an expert on REGEX (@Vidar is....), but the (.*) is too generic. Btw, if no match is found, it will throw an error.
