Hi and welcome to my profile. I'm Jacob Jan Tuinstra, born in the northern part of the Netherlands. In my free time, I try to do as much coding in Google Apps Script as possible. See my website for snippets I've made available. See my Google+ profile for more info.

comment Menu option Insert -> Script… is missing in my Spreadsheet, how do I fix it?
In both the old and the new Google Sheets, the script editor can be found under Tools>Script editor. If you're planning on adding a script, then that's the place to be.....

comment How to calculate weighted averages in Google Spreadsheets?
-1; I tested you code in the new Google Sheets and it didn't work, it gave #NUM! as a result. The code Lipis made still works. You're only ignoring the 2d-array that's being returned.

comment Code invoked too many times
@Adaml I agree. In this case, the OP made an effort to make something work in GAS. I and another poster made suggestions about how to improve the code.

While this link may answer the question, it is better to include the essential parts of the answer here and provide the link for reference. Link-only answers can become invalid if the linked page changes.

I also figured that out myself but couldn't explain the behaviour, thus I didn't answer, thus -1.

If you can't explain the behaviour, then why do you answer?

comment Run script when clicked on picture in published Google spreadsheet?
Working with images is tricky. The image needs to be publicly available and (I believe) outside your domain. Why not create an UI with a button (and add image to button)?
