comment Bugmenot (registration bypasser) alternative that doesn’t suck?
The other great thing about BugMeNot is the Firefox extension that automatically tries to log in with a right-click, no copying and pasting necessary.

This is a redirect to facebook? Flagged.

@IlariKajaste: Also, that might reduce usage of the accounts to spam, which just gets them banned?

-1 The whole point of bugmenot is to avoid the hassle of registering with a fake account (just to see one illustration on a forum that you're never going to use again, for instance). Suggesting that people make their own individual fake accounts misses the point.

This doesn't solve my problem, but I upvoted it because it at least helps with it.

comment Is there any way to improve Gmail's new compose?
I'd at least like a script to keep the "Formatting options" bubble open at all times. That shouldn't be too hard, right?

@Oli: I guess, but this isn't the last change they're going to make. By the time you find a solution to fix the new compose window, Google's going to downgrade something else, and then by the time you fix that, there will be no Gmail left; it'll just be Google+ Messaging.

This isn't discoverable at all. They need to fire their UI designer.

@myhd: sorry I didn't fix this. it works fine for me. maybe it's just a difference in your terminal character set, and you can fix it just by removing all the print statements? stackoverflow.com/q/5695421/125507

I have hundreds of starred locations, so anything that requires manual copypasting is no good. :)

the best you can do is indent the text and apply a background color :(

This no longer works since they killed the old format completely and force-upgraded to the new one.

@endolith: And the coordinates do appear in the page's source 3 times: ...,overlays:{sxcar:true,markers:[{id:'A',cid:'4350987349087335054',latlng:{lat‌:40.729879,lng:-73.991094}...

The KML link doesn't appear immediately, but after some refreshes it works. I'm not sure the API can access it

They all appear in Google Bookmarks, but only as URLs with cid numbers like https://maps.google.com/?cid=4350987349087335054, and they're mixed in with all other bookmarks, but maybe a script could step through and follow each link and extract the name and coordinates?
