comment Keep getting spam which have the same “mailed-by” field. Marking spam doesn't work. Can’t create filter based on this. How to mark these as spam?
"Creating filters searches for From values only" This is patently untrue. There are a lot of things you can use as a filter. The From: field is only one of them.

Can you post an example set of headers? There might be something you can do with the "contains" filter.

Filter or no, keep do reporting them as spam so Gmail's spam filters can learn.

comment Some of Gmail labels show the # of unread messages and some don't
I suspect it's just a browser caching issue. Also, unread messages in sub-labels do not cause their parent label to "light up".

comment “Server not found” when searching through Google
I can't ping ipv6.google.com either. From what I recall that URL was an experiment for when IP V6 was rolling out. They've probably just turned it off because it's not needed. If you're being redirected from www.google.com to there then perhaps your browser is caching the address or maybe the DNS changes haven't fully propagated.

Do you have a space before the @?

Sure you didn't do that yourself? You can "change color" of a folder under the "More" menu.

The third person has you blocked? The third person has their activity set to "friends" only and you're not on their list?

Human memory is faulty. Please back this up with a source. All the reliable sources I've seen says Facebook never had such a thing.

That is odd, then. Did you check in your "Other contacts" too?

comment Gmail strangely switching out Gmail Contact information to Google+ information
This isn't even related to Google+ I don't think. I've seen the same thing when two contacts had the same email address (long before G+ existed).

comment How can I specify daylight timezome status when adding an event?
Because you're trying to outsmart it. Just put the time in. You won't suddenly find yourself with an 11 o'clock appointment after the DST switch.

comment How can I specify daylight timezome status when adding an event?
I have never seen Google Calendar do that. As far as I can see, it's smart enough to know that the time you set is in DST or not. For one thing, my recurring events would be wrong for half of the year. As long as your timezone is set properly in your settings you shouldn't need to do anything. Lots of interesting information at this link: support.google.com/calendar/answer/2367918 (Basically, unless a country changes its DST rules since you created the event, there should be no problem.)
