Google Reader as a platform, for commercial use? I will say, the amount of information you're looking to process is enormous. We looked at managing even 100 feeds for a newspaper we were supporting last year, and even that started to get expensive considering the necessary infrastructure to do all the enriching. |

View/compare revision differences in new Google Docs document Yeah, three cheers for Google. A lot of the Google Apps have a tendency to get a little temperamental. Glad it worked eventually, though -- Docs is definitely a useful tool when it works :) |

View/compare revision differences in new Google Docs document In Firefox 3.5.__, Google Chrome 5.0.__ and Safari 5.0.1 on OS 10.6 I have the proper checkboxes. In Internet Explorer 7.0.__ and Firefox 3.6 on Windows XP I have the checkboxes. I'm curious what could be different on your machines that the checkboxes aren't displaying. The problem isn't with the process, though (and I'd kinda appreciate an un-negativing the post, if possible?) |

How can I re-read an RSS feed from the beginning? I would either then save that Atom feed in Google reader, which may load the entire history, or add it to a desktop application feed reader. If you go the feed reader-route (there are some nice free options for both Windows and Apple) you should be able, when loading the Atom feed for the first time, to tell it to load all available history. |

View/compare revision differences in new Google Docs document I literally opened docs.google.com and walked through a document when I wrote those. Can you please provide your operating system, browser and browser version so I can test against it? Also, can you provide a screenshot of what you see when you get to step 4? (Shift+[Print Screen} button on keyboard, paste to Paint or Seashore, save, then insert into the original question by clicking "edit" and using the image button) |

How can I re-read an RSS feed from the beginning? This article: googlesystem.blogspot.com/2007/06/… purports to have a method to resurrect old feed items. If the feed wasn't being followed by a Reader user, I don't think it'll have the feed items, but it's worth a try. The example link doesn't work, and I wasn't able to get it to pull a few of my own sites, but maybe it'll work for bigger sites you're trying to read. |
