Senior .NET web developer and burgeoning software architect.
I currently work as a consultant in Waltham, Massachusetts. (A job I found on Stack Overflow Careers, thank you very much.) I'm interested in lots of extra-curricular software development activity (user groups, conventions, panels, etc.) as well as general local geekery (gaming, geocaching, anything fun).
Career aspirations involve becoming a better developer, a better architect, and maybe even getting published once I find something about which to write.

How Can I Really Turn Off “Close Friends” Notifications? Ah, I hadn't noticed those little x's in the notification menu itself. I'll see if this does the trick. Thanks! |

Twitter Application That Maintains History? I've so barely used Twitter yet that it hadn't even occurred to me to watch it through Google Reader. But I use the latter extensively so that should work out perfectly for me. And I definitely trust Google's data retention a lot more than Twitter's :) I may come back someday asking about locally archiving Google Reader as well (don't mind me, I'm a local-archive data retention nut). |

What's a good webapp for keeping a daily log? It's definitely a risk in that regard. I wonder (and may post this as a separate question) if there are any Twitter client interfaces that address this. |

Is it possible to utilizing the “Send mail as” GMail feature from SMTP? Ah, looks like you're right. I guess I'm getting rusty :) The steps in the Mail application should be the same, though. More information: macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20010401111133239 |
