Big StackExchange fan. If I mainly lurk on StackOverflow, I can also visit SuperUser, SciFi, Ubuntu, Lego or Role playing

comment Is there a web service which, given a domain, can return me the application logo?
@MaryC.fromNZ Well, ok, but for big "enterprise" sites, or webapps (like this one, as an example), logo is available, so it could be a good start, no ?

@MaryC.fromNZ Well ... i don't exactly know, but I know for sure it could be possible for a service provider to give me such information ... no ? I mean, you're here questionning the implementation of that diea, not its existence itself ...

@DeepakKamat That's why suh a service would have an obvious use : grab the various logos using "as complicated as required" methods.

comment Quotes as signatures in Gmail using Evernote
@EightDaysofMalaise Unfortunatly I don't find that hijacking really useful, as it would lead anwserers towards the Evernote direction (which is exactly what jsut happened). I would personnally have prefered a kind of web service (in it's most restful way).

comment When a post is modified, does Google Reader notice?
@Tshepang No, it's because on StackOverflow, i've notice that people commenting an anwser often forget to accept any answer. As it is a recurring pattern, I now have the tendancy to remind askers about the importance of accepting answsers.

Well, I guess it will make a duplicate, unless event id is the same, in which case event is "simply" changed.
