comment How exactly does sharing work in Google Docs?
It doesn't, what he needs is to either just publish it for download, or create his own app to do so.

comment Having all mail for my domain controlled by a gmail account
Well, I did, simply so I had a catch-all, but that's purely optional. In my main gmail, I've created a filter for each address that tags anything that's sent to that address as being to that address (so you have to set it up first, but after it's done it's good). The filters are simply if to don@dkuntz2.com, mark as dkuntz2, otherwise don't mark it as anything. Technically it'll show up as to the address it's sent, however you would have to view the headers to see that, otherwise it just looks like a standard piece of mail.

comment How do I tell Google Reader to mark the currently-shown page as read if I know it's in one of my subscribed feeds?
RSS is not a part of the database. RSS is one file, where the database is lots of tables. Think of it this way: I have an excel sheet with all of the data for my posts in it's own cell. I create a new word document that uses the excel data, but just grabs the data and arranges it in a specific way. You have a second excel sheet that is all the items placed in your reader account. This sheet grabs the word document and splits it apart. The reader sheet doesn't even know that the site's sheet exists, because it might not (there are lots of ways to set up rss). You simply can't do it.
