For people who have issues with this issue ("Sorry,If you have exceeded your sharing quota" message whilstreceive the error "Sorry, you have exceeded your sharing quota" whilst transferring ownership of a large numbers of files to another account), this workaround may help you: Use can switch your IP address using a VPN. 

I got thisreceived that error message after some 3000+ transfers and it wouldn't go away. Google support agents have no clue and provide useless advisetransferring 3,000+ files. Once I setconnected my VPN to a differentanother country, the message disappeared and I transferred another 28002,800 files without issue.
