Facebook has a feature in which they will present you with a Checkpoint (https://www.facebook.com/checkpoint) page if there is a security concern with your account (name change, possible malware infection, etc.). When such a page is presented, you have to verify certain details about your account in order to proceed back into Facebook.

Will issuing a Safety Check (via https://www.facebook.com/about/safetycheck), which can alert family members or friends to my physical status if a natural or human disaster occurs, still notify my friends/family if I am stuck at the account verification page?
