I have a shared spreadsheet that users can edit data in. The only problem is, that whenever someone copy and pastes data, the format changes, and I'm always going in to fix it (somewhat of a pain).
I saw a similar question, where a script was created to copy formatting from a locked row to the other, editable rows. However, I need something that will do the same but with columns. I'm bad with scripts, so I'm not sure how to do this. It would probably be easy just to alter the script described there. I need it to only have the same format as the first column since each row alternates format. Could someone edit it to only include formatting based on columns?
And even when I try to run that script in Script Editor, it gives me "This App Isn't Verified." Here's a link to the post.
