I'm trying to find out if it is possible to use Zapier to populate a Google Sheet with the IDs of Twitter users who retweet me.
I've tried using the advanced search parameters
from:username filter:retweets, however, Twitter's recent updates no longer treat retweets with the legacy RT but as unique tweets with their own ID so the advanced search yields only old retweets.
I saw that Twitter API has this: GET statuses/retweeters/ids, that means that theoretically, there could be a broken down process where:
- GET statuses/user_timeline and store all tweet IDs in Google Sheet
- GET statuses/retweeters/ids for each tweet ID in the sheet
I just don't know if Zapier is robust enough to handle such a task or not?
Would appreciate your opinion on it...
