Sometimes I get email about new google calendar meetings that I'm invited to, and other times I don't seem to get them.

I'm fairly sure this happens and is not because of filtering. I'm guessing it happens when the creator of the meeting doesn't choose "send" to update the attendees?

How can I reliably get prompt email or slack notification of new google calendar meeting requests, as soon as they're created?
