I'm working on a corporate document template and had all of my styles in perfect order until I noticed there was an extra style. I used that style to see where it came from and it added another style. Now I have two additional styles that I don't want.

How can I remove styles that I don't want in my template?

It's really important that I keep this template as simple and consistently on-brand as possible.

  • I'm missing something. I can't actually create new Styles in Google Docs. I get Title, Subtitle, 3 levels of Headings and 'Normal'. That's it. The only paragraph styles that ever get added to this list are Heading styles 4, 5, etc after I've made use of 'Heading 3' – ScoBe Dec 11 '18 at 15:16
