This question already has an answer here:

I am a teacher at a high school and we have a Google sheet calendar and each tab is a new week i.e. (12/17/18 - 12/21/18), so we have a tab for each of the weeks of the school year to keep our IEP meetings schedule. My question is, is there a way to open the document and have it open to the current week of the year instead of opening to the first tab which is 8/06/18- 08/10/18. I can't do the hide tab because we need to look back on previous meetings. I know this is going to be a pain come April scrolling from August.

  • it is trivial, and you will need an "onOpen" script to do this. We can't provide further help, however, without understanding how you name your tabs. – Oren Pinsky Dec 20 '18 at 10:41
