I recently discovered that if I am tagged in a photo of myself, either automatically by Facebook using its machine learning algorithm or by manually tagging myself, it shows up on the more prominent Photos of You section of your Photos page, just like if someone else had tagged you.

I'm now tempted to go back and tag all photos of myself retrospectively to ensure they appear in this section, separating them from the rest of my images. However, I notice that doing so makes each tag action show up in Activity Log with an audience of Friends - does this mean that these tags (not the images themselves, to be clear) are being shown in my friends' feeds as I'm tagging them? Are they seeing something in their feeds that says "John Doe tagged himself in his photo" or something to that effect?
