Facebook marked a status as "false". I can prove that the statement in the status is actually true; it's mentioned in a Wikipedia article and many other objective sources. Is it possible to dispute Facebook findings regarding the veracity of the post?

Things tried: clicking around Facebook app didn't produce any "dispute" options; searching the Web for Facebook fact-checking produced several 3rd party companies Facebook contracts fact-checking to, but no answer regarding disputing their findings.

  • it is probably possible ... ask Facebook how to do it – jsotola Jun 18 at 0:50
  • Did you get any notification/email when status was marked as false? – serenesat Jun 18 at 3:01
  • @serenesat, nothing about disputing their findings. They just assert that they are right and you are wrong and don't provide any feedback opportunities. – Michael Jun 18 at 22:05
