I have been using emClient as my main email software, it is mostly excellent but it has an annoying habit of selecting all messages in the inbox when using ctl-A to select all text in a single email. It is then all too easy to delete all messages in my GMail inbox - and that is what I have just done. Thousands of them, going back years.

I can see that some of the message are still there in Trash and All Mail, but how can I find just the ones that have recently been deleted? I don't want to restore them all.

Is there a search term I can use in GMail or a way to view the last action.

Anything I can do programmatically (I am a developer). Help!
