=if(isblank(D2),"",vlookup(D2,Master!$B$1:$F$600,5,false))

I have this working which looksup a UID value to select a user. The users name is returned to the cell.

The problem is now I'd like to make sure that UID can only be called once to avoid duplication.

And the icing on the cake would be 'after' the UID was selected - either colour the Row on Master or Delete it from Master..

Cheers

This is a Daft list of Athletes - master sheet holds the full list arranged in the order we would like to pick those athletes. Sheet2 would be how the actual draft is conducted - one team at a time gets to select an athlete. With the above vlook up you can select the same athlete multiple times by BIB number (which is the UID in this case). You don't want this to be able to happen.

Not sure if that makes the use case any more clear?
