I am trying to make it so I can add a new row once something is put in the description cell. (Sheet link is attached for reference.) I would want this to be so I could just keep adding as many rows as the invoice required. I think apps script and onEdit() would be the best way to do that? I'm just not sure how to implement as I am a beginner and through my google searching I haven't been able to piece anything together.

Hi and welcome. As you know, your question is one that has been addressed many times here and in other places. Is this a homework/assessment task for you? I agree that an Apps script is probably part of the answer but even if someone tailored a solution for you, as a beginner you would still lack the skills to understand and implement it on your spreadsheet. I suggest that work on your AppsScript skills.: This would be a good start-[Extending Google Sheets](Extending Google Sheets).
