We have option to filter an email from a sender and move it to a folder.

But how to use the same filter from different email IDs. Like, I can filer emails from naukri,monster,hirist,etc and apply all of them a single label. Commas/semicolons are not working.

To make a filter work as long as one of the emails is present, use OR

emailA@mail.com OR emailB@mail.com

The "OR" should be capitalized.

here are some more examples: Search operators you can use with Gmail

Messages that match multiple terms

OR or { }

Example: from:amy OR from:david

Example: {from:amy from:david}

  • emailA@mail.com OR emailB@mail.com, this one I kept in first screen but not working as the filter is detecting zero mails. When I try individually, it is showing results. Dec 14, 2021 at 15:28
  • If you have already labeled any messages that meet the filter conditions then that explains the '0 matching messages' message. It is misleading. To test the validity of the search you can click the SEARCH button beside the CREATE FILTER button in your first image and you will see the results. Dec 14, 2021 at 17:06
  • @mhoran_psprep good answer. Couple of small typos: 'lonmg' and 'emailos' Dec 14, 2021 at 17:09
