I made a folder in Google Drive, it has several sub-folders a few levels deep, and files and shortcuts in those folders. I am sharing the top-most folder. This is meant for a collaboration with around ten other people. They have access to some files, and to some other files they do not. My expectation was that they would get access to all files under that top level folder. If this is not true (?), is there a way how I can make it so? Or rather, how is Google Drive meant to be used if I have a folder structure, and I don't want to give access manually to each file again and again?
